Hi! I’m Melinda, your host at Saving Hollow.
Saving is actually my maiden name. Our family has been deeply rooted in the Hocking Hills community for generations.
Together with my husband and our three kids, family and friends, we’ve poured our hearts into building Saving Hollow from the ground up. It’s been a true family project—our kids helped paint, clear brush, and even made four-wheeler runs to Grandma and Papa’s for ice cream to keep everyone going. With the support of our extended family, every cabin, boardwalk, and detail has been shaped with love and care.
Hosting here is more than opening the doors to a cabin—it’s about sharing our family’s roots, our stories, and the peace of this place with you. We can’t wait for you to experience the beauty and joy of Saving Hollow.
